Microneedling with PRP or PRF

Percutaneous Collagen Induction (PCI) Therapy

Percutaneous collagen induction (PCI) therapy or medical microneedling is a technique in which a fractional microneedling device (CosmoPen®) with fine microneedles has been shown to increase the skin’s remodeling by creating thousands of microscopic channels through the skin. This improves the formation of new tissue by activating the body’s wound-healing cascade (hemostasis, inflammation, proliferation, and tissue remodeling).

It is also referred to as a non-ablative skin treatment, which means that the deeper parts of the skin are treated without removing the top layer. It is designed to treat skin conditions such as fine lines and wrinkles, light scarring from acne and photodamage, and improve skin color and texture changes.

The principle behind Microneedling

CosmoPen® microneedling, a form of Collagen Induction Therapy (CIT), creates controlled Non-Thermal injury to induce skin rejuvenation.
